PBL: Culture Regions
Projected Due Date: Thursday, Sept. 29
In this project, students will deepen their understanding of how culture develops and spreads. Each group will be assigned to research one of the world's cultural regions. What are the significant elements of this culture and how have they changed (or stayed the same) over time? What are the traditions, customs, and folk tales these cultures have passed on through history? How have these cultures responded to contact with other cultures?
Students will be organized into groups and assigned specific roles in order to keep the project on schedule. All students, regardless of region assignment, will be responsible for writing lecture notes and completing DIYs, All group members are responsible for completing the duties of the role they have been assigned as well as writing the portions of each page they have been assigned. If your name is not on your writing, you will NOT receive credit!

Project requirements
You will create a Student Weebly website detailing the development and spread of major cultural regions. The goal of this assignment will be to create discussion about the different customs, traditions, languages, religious beliefs, and use of resources that makes your assigned culture unique.
Your job is to research this topic in detail. Remember, in order to create a website that will effectively communicate your learning to your classmates, you will have to become the expert on your topic. YOU MUST USE CREDIBLE RESOURCES (this means actually visiting the website Google search results presents you with and WIKIPEDIA DOES NOT COUNT!!)
